Management Team

Jason began his site work career in 1997 as an employee of Southern Grading and Paving Company. In 1999, Jason started his own business and in 2000 partnered with John Henderson and Southeastern Grading and Paving was formed. The company started out with small paving jobs around the Central Savannah River Area with a special focus on the Statesboro, Georgia area. In 2002, the business became incorporated as Palmetto Site Construction, Inc., and continued to grow earning a reputation for delivering quality work in a timely manner through close working relationships that Jason developed with contractors and developers. Today the company has over twenty million dollars in ongoing work, 125 employees, and its ongoing work is bonded by St. Paul Travelers.

John C. Henderson, Jr.

John has been involved with the management of site work projects throughout his entire adult life. He began as an employee of Southern Grading and Paving during summer vacations and later was promoted to site superintendent in 1999. In 2000, John partnered with Jason Brittain and formed Southeastern Grading and Paving. John served as Director of Operations of Southeastern Grading and Paving while attending Georgia Southern University. Due to rapid growth, John and Jason incorporated in 2002 to form Palmetto Site Construction, Inc. In March 2006, Palmetto Site Construction merged with Palmetto Asphalt and Sealcoat to form Palmetto Site and Asphalt Limited Company, resulting in a fully integrated, well capitalized site work company with large bonding capacity through St. Paul Travelers.

John Creighton ("Creight") Henderson, Sr.

Creight’s site work career began in 1979 as a project manager for a local Augusta paving contractor. Creight was a principal in the formation of Augusta Paving Company, Inc. in 1986. Augusta Paving performed a variety of site projects for private and government contractors and had an annual volume of approximately four million dollars. In 1993, Creight formed Southern Grading and Paving Company as its principal operating owner. Creight Henderson has completed numerous site projects including several major warehouse facilities, extensive work for Savannah River Site, Super Walmart and Lowes Home Improvement Centers, and the Carolina Parkway phase of the Bobby Jones Expressway expansion into North Augusta, South Carolina. In March of 2004, Creight brought his reputation for integrity and nearly three decades of experience in the paving and site work industry to Palmetto Site Construction, Inc.
