History

In 2000, John Henderson, Jr. and Jason Brittain teamed up to form a small paving company in Aiken, South Carolina, known as Southeastern Paving and Grading. From its start paving residential driveways, the company quickly grew into a “turn-key” site contractor successfully completing a number of site work projects in the Central Savannah River Area. In 2002, Southeastern Paving and Grading incorporated and was renamed Palmetto Site Construction, Inc., and immediately expanded its site work project capabilities. In 2004, John “Creight” Henderson, Sr. joined the team adding nearly thirty years of site work experience.

In March of 2006, Palmetto Site Construction, Inc. merged with Palmetto Asphalt and Seal Coat, LLC to form Palmetto Site and Asphalt Limited Company (“Palmetto”), resulting in a fully integrated, well capitalized site work company managing a work force of approximately 125 employees with anticipated construction volume for 2007 in excess of $30 million. Through this growth, the company has earned a reputation for delivering quality work in a timely manner.
